Aspirants of Legal profession choose either to join industry or set up their own practice. The curriculum puts significant emphasis on the ability of the student to have an integrated view of the law and apply them to the real life situations. It lays emphasis on taking decisions and developing focused education combined with practical exposure to create value to the students coming out of academics. It aims at developing students into effective legal professionals. The attributes that are ingrained in them are knowledge, skills, values and attitudes.

Padala Rama Reddi Law College was established in the year 1988, under the Chairmanship of Hon'ble Justice T.L.N. Reddy, with affiliation from Osmania University and approval from Bar Council of India and Government of Andhra Pradesh. The College situated in the Metropolitan City of HYDERABAD, has the distinction of being the first private law college under Osmania University, is located at Yellareddyguda and is a few minutes walk from Ameerpet crossroads.

The main objectives behind the establishment of the college were to impart quality legal education and to promote the knowledge of law among masses. The college is also promoting the skills of advocacy among the law students and research scholars so as to serve the society with a sense of responsibility while providing legal services, making legislation and suggesting law reforms.

The College has completed more than two decades of glorious service in the field of academics. The College, affiliated to the Osmania University has gathered the reputation and social recognition over the years as an institution second to none, a fact that is more than adequately proven by commendable performance of our students at all walks of life.

The Law programmes are approved by Bar Council of India, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and are run under the curriculum of Osmania University, The programmes are carefully designed and updated by the university keeping in view the changing needs of industry and society. Upon successful completion of the programme, the degree is awarded by Osmania University.

Admission Procedure

The LL.B. 5-Year Degree fulltime regular Course is offered through semester system to the students admitted as prescribed by the Bar Council of India. A candidate for admission to LL.B. semester course has to qualify at the LL.B. Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET) for that academic year. The candidates will be admittedly strict in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the Rules in force in respect of statutory reservation of seats under various categories of candidate. 20% of eligible candidates can be admitted through Institutional level admission process.

Eligibilty

A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination of Intermediate level (10+2) or equivalent in a regular course is eligible to join LL.B – 5 years programme.

LL.M. is a two years Masters Degree programme full time regular course offered through semester system with specialization. A candidate for admission to LL.M. Semester Course has to qualify at the LL.M. Entrance Examination conducted by the Osmania University for that academic year.The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the Rules in force in respect of the statutory reservation of seats under categories of candidates.

Eligibility

A candidate who has completed and passed their LL.B course is eligible for taking up admission in LL.M programme. P.R.R College of Law offers LL.M with Constitutional Law and LL.M with Corporate Law specializations. The fourth semester of this curriculum comprises of research on the contemporary issues and generates new legislatures. A thesis of the research work will be submitted by each student at the end of the course.
